Job summary

UVM Health - Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, VT is seeking a Registered Nurse to administer care within hospital policy and established standards, and to develop and initiate the nursing plan using the nursing process.

The RN collaborates with nursing staff and other disciplines to promote wellness, and must have graduating from an approved nursing program with VT licensure; BLS is required, ACLS for certain departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current VT RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
• BLS required; ACLS for specific departments.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care within hospital policy and established standards of care and develops and initiates the nursing care plan utilizing the nursing process.
• Collaborates with nursing staff and other hospital/health care disciplines to promote health and obtain optimal wellness for patients, family, and community.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of nursing
