Job summary

trusthchs is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient care on a medical-surgical and emergency unit. You will deliver care using the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation, while maintaining high professional standards and continuity of care on the assigned unit.

The role is part-time, includes 60 hours per pay period across five 12-hour shifts, with day shifts and a weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• RN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and must be licensed or eligible in the state of Iowa.
• Excellent computer skills required.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical-surgical and emergency patients ensuring safe, quality and continuity of care is maintained. Care of all types of patients on assigned unit, while maintaining professional nursing standards.

HOURS:

Part time, 60 hours per pay period, five 12-hour shifts per pay period. Day shift 6:15 am –6:45 pm., every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

RN - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and must be licensed or eligible in the state of Iowa. Must have excellent computer skills.

PRIMARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Must be able to frequently lift over 60 pounds. Must be able to have good visual and auditory skills.
