Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our Med/Surg Overflow unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document care meticulously, and adapt to a dynamic patient population across admissions, surgeries, and recovery.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum by leveraging the nursing process, administering treatments per protocol, and adapting care based on patient needs.
• Collaborate effectively with the care team while maintaining accurate documentation, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and upholding professional standards, ethics, and ongoing development (including flexibility to float as needed).
