Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Georgia seeks an experienced RN Clinical Charge Nurse to oversee daily unit operations on assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.

You will direct staff, assign patients, rounds on patients, monitor care quality, collaborate with physicians and leadership, participate in performance improvement, mentor colleagues, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to staffing and protocol development.

Qualifications

• RN with active license; multi-state license preferred.
• BSN preferred; nursing degree from an accredited program.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates staff activities, assigns patients, and manages unit resources.
• Rounds on patients, evaluates care quality, and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians, staff, and leadership to optimize patient flow and safety.
• Participates in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Mentors team members, supports professional development, and serves as a role model.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in unit staffing, resource planning, and clinical protocol development.
