Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager for the Med Surg specialty. The role provides leadership to support the CNO in nursing and patient care services, ensuring high-quality, safe care and efficient resource management.

Active RN license in the practice state is required, along with a minimum of two years in hospital management. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree and have strong interpersonal, communication, and hospital operations skills.

Qualifications

• Active and current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting.
• Academic degree in nursing (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to the CNO for nursing and patient care functions within the hospital.
• Assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice at the unit level.
• Maintain 24/7 responsibility for the manager’s assigned areas.
