CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee a 30-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit in a high-acuity setting. The role emphasizes 24-hour accountability, leadership, communication, and fiscal management to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care.

The position requires BSN with 3+ years of leadership experience; a Master's in nursing leadership is preferred. Texas RN licensure and BLS CPR are mandatory.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership and communication to monitor environment, assure quality, and manage the unit budget.
• Oversee a 30-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit and coordinate staffing as per patient acuity.
• Develop staff for leadership roles through shared governance and formal/informal coaching.
• Facilitate unit meetings, ensure timely minutes, and maintain effective communication channels.
• Participate in CQI/CQE programs and implement corrective action plans for improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and other departments to support patient care delivery.
• Direct and participate in orientation of new employees and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Maintain adherence to personnel policies and performance interviewing standards.
• Support division nursing philosophy and goals through program development and implementation.
