Responsibilities

Our neuro med surg unit is a 25-bed unit aligned with our neuro service line. This unit will care for patients with neuro diagnoses and other medical conditions. Neuro med surg is a new care model for CUMC-Bergan, and we are excited to have you join our growing team.

The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum. Provides services encompassing the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care, disease prevention, and health conservation. The position contributes to the mission and core values of CHI Health.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Follow the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This process is ongoing and may conclude at any stage.
  2. Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic approach to collecting and analyzing healthcare consumer data, including psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an RN nursing program
  • RN license
  • BLS-CPR certification

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 per hour
