Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Missouri to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician or RN. The role involves applying the nursing process, coordinating with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license; BLS is required and LPN-IV certification is expected within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state; meet State Board requirements.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Perform duties in line with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
