Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Medical/Surgical role in Littleton, CO. This contract–part time position operates under RN supervision and requires adherence to nursing standards while delivering high-quality patient care.

The candidate must hold an active LPN license in the practicing state, have CPR if applicable, complete TB/PPD or chest x-ray as required, and maintain a health certificate.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license in state practicing.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a registered nurse, provide and manage patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver patient care according to nursing standards and assist others in care management.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse – Medical Surgical assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in state practicing
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
