Job Description

Saint Luke’s Community Hospital at the Legends is seeking an experienced Med Surg Intermediate Registered Nurse to join their team in the PRN capacity. As an RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to triage, perform ongoing assessments, and provide direct patient care to a variety of acuity levels and conditions. In this environment, you will be the lead RN in the department.

Shift Details: PRN Extra (must work a minimum of 6 shifts within 6 weeks, with 2 being weekend shifts, and 2 minor or 1 major holiday throughout the year).

Responsibilities:

  • Perform primary nursing functions of assessing, planning, directing, performing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room and Inpatient/Telemetry Unit.
  • Serve as a professional role model by collaborating with clinical and front office staff, administration, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care and optimal outcomes.

To be successful, you should be able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure, manage time effectively, be highly organized, task-oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.
