Job summary

Decatur County Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to provide comprehensive care for patients across Med Surg and ED settings. You will manage care for patients of all ages with trauma, cardiac, respiratory and neurological conditions, and post-surgical patients.

The role requires 5 years of acute care nursing with Med Surg and ED experience, and an Iowa RN license in good standing. Mentoring new nurses is strongly preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• 5 years of acute care nursing experience required, must include Med Surg and ED.
• Current Iowa RN License in good standing required.
• Previous experience mentoring new nurses is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients of all ages with traumatic injuries, cardiac, respiratory and neurological conditions as well as post-surgical patients in Med Surg and ED.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, prioritization and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintains professionalism, teamwork and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
