Qualifications

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program or 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting.
• High School diploma preferred/Equivalent from an accredited school
• Must have a State CNA certification
• BLS certification required

Responsabilités

• Recognizes the normal signs and care requirements of the patient population.
• Initiates and maintains hygiene/cleanliness of patients, the patient’s environment, and the unit environment.
• Understand and recognizes safe storage of medications (large volume IVs, alcohol, saline, meds in prepackaged kits).
• Performs or assists with nutritional/hydration interventions (feeding, fluids).
• Identifies and communicates patient data to the interdisciplinary team.
• Collects and records patient data through direct care tasks.
• Performs general transportation and courier duties as directed.
