Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed Medical Terminology Course.
• Past or current experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the values and mission of Ingalls Memorial Hospital.
• Provides direct patient care and assists with meals.
• Performs hourly rounds on patients and meets needs as appropriate.
• Demonstrates necessary skills and knowledge to provide care for patients per unit scope of care.
• Assists with admissions by preparing patient rooms and orienting patients.
