Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of RNs and LPNs. The role includes preparing equipment for procedures and delivering basic ADL assistance such as bathing, mobility, nutrition, and elimination.

Compliance with NH LNA license and BLS is required within the specified timeframe. The position is part-time (24 hours per week) with a shift pattern from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Training in 12-lead EKG and use of glucose meters preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in one of the job skills incorporated in this position is preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.
• New Hampshire LNA license and BLS (within 3 months of hire and maintained on a biannual basis) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/LPN/other healthcare providers with examinations and treatments as requested.
• Prepare equipment for procedures as directed.
• Provide basic care related to activities of daily living for patients as directed by the RN/LPN, including bathing, skin care, movement and exercise/assistive care and devices, elimination, bowel/bladder training and nutrition.
