Job summary

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Clinical RN Coordinator Med Surg to lead patient care coordination on the unit and drive clinical excellence.

You will oversee nursing care, collaborate with management, support patient-centered outcomes, participate in staffing and staff development, and help implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and service quality.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license (or compact) with active FL license within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing diploma/ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure through put of high-quality care.
• Monitors and evaluates nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Assists with staffing scheduling and labor management.
• Oversees inventory and supplies management.
