Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to patients from birth through adulthood.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children and adults.
- Manage preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and wellness visits.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff for coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Educate and support patients and families on treatment plans and lifestyle changes.
- Participate in after-hours on-call duties as required.
- Assist in administrative/clinical quality improvement efforts.

This position will be housed at a Lone Tree Primary Care clinic operated by the Department of Family Medicine.

The clinician-educator will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician/educator/scholar. Clinician-educators are encouraged to collaborate with other faculty in clinical research projects.
- Provide primary care services to a diverse patient population from birth through adulthood.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in both children and adults.
- Manage preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and wellness visits for all age groups.
- Work collaboratively with other physicians, specialists, nurses, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with all health regulations and standards.
- Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, health maintenance, and lifestyle changes.
- Participate in after-hours on-call duties as required.
- Assist in administrative/clinical quality improvement functions relating to a variety of programs at the direction of the medical director.
- Provide education to medical students during their ambulatory rotation.
- Assist in supervision of advanced practice providers at the clinic.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill.
- Attend and present at conferences, meetings and trainings to maintain certification and enhance professional skills; participate in faculty development activities.
Onsite – This role is expected to work onsite and is located in Lone Tree, CO.

- Experience in primary care, ambulatory setting.

Instructor: $200,000 - $214,000
Senior Instructor: $206,000 – 214,000
Assistant Professor: $200,000 – $214,000
Associate Professor: $219,000 - $234,000
Based on the current incentive plan, your total yearly compensation for full-time 1.0 FTE position will be $262,500 per year for your first two years. You can increase your compensation by optimizing billing and by working additional clinical hours. Any salary changes will be limited to the salary setting periods, which is July 1.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
