• Work with senior attorneys on complex cases and trial preparation.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mid-Level Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Long Beach or San Diego. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working both remotely and in-office. The ideal candidate will be barred in California and have at least two years of experience handling medical malpractice cases or similar litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle medical malpractice cases from inception to resolution, including client interviews, legal research, drafting pleadings, and attending hearings.
• Work closely with clients, healthcare providers, and expert witnesses to develop case strategies.
• Conduct case assessments and provide clients with clear guidance and representation.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, mediation, and arbitration where applicable.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and trial preparation.

Preferred Experience

• Deposition experience is preferred but not required. Candidates who are eager to gain deposition experience will be provided opportunities for mentorship and skill development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be an active member of the California Bar.
• At least 2 years of experience in medical malpractice or related litigation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with some days required in the Manhattan Beach office.
