Position Summary:
Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.
Reports to: Supervisor, Lab
FLSA: Non-exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Associates degree or higher
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licenses:
Valid Driver License (Donor Services dept only)
Certifications:
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
ASCP or equivalent registry as a Medical Laboratory Technician
