Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist II in Bangor, ME. This hospital-based role is at Northern Lights Hospital, with a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift on Monday to Friday (4 variable days) and weekend rotation.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $32.17–$35.74, with eligibility for annual performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Must demonstrate proficiency in testing and instrument troubleshooting within a CLIA/HIPAA environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience or training in high complexity testing in a clinical lab.
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry; or Associates in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests per SOPs with quality controls.
• Troubleshoot instruments/procedures and support QC, maintenance and staff training.
• Enter test results into the Laboratory Information System for standardized reports.
