Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in medical devices, hands-on design work, and proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T, and PLM/EPDM. You will drive design reviews, enable ECN/ECR changes, and collaborate with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in medical devices.
• Hands-on design experience, material selection, DFM/DFA concepts.
• Experience with GD&T, PLM/EPDM and NPD processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop medical device parts for production.
• Identify suitable materials and apply DFM/DFA concepts.
• Investigate product complaints and plan remediation.
• Present root cause analysis to clients.
• Manage engineering changes (ECN, ECR, DCO).
• Create design reviews and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers for procurement and clarifications.
• Develop and execute tests to verify designs.
