Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Development Engineering Technician to support high-volume medical device manufacturing. You will assemble prototypes, run test protocols, document results, and help develop tooling and fixtures, working closely with manufacturing engineers.

Ideal candidates have 3 years as an engineering technician (Level II/III), experience with CAD (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Pro-E), and familiarity with GMP/quality systems. Strong communication and data entry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of engineering technician experience (Level II/III).
• Prior chemical handling preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP & Quality Systems Regulations desirable.
• Medical product experience.
• Must have communication and documentation skills.
• CAD experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Pro-E preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• First technical support contact for operations.
• Provide assembly feedback to the engineering team.
• Conduct tests, measure data, and support validation activities.
• Monitor, inspect, setup, calibrate, and maintain equipment.
• Enter production data into ERP/Quality systems timely.
• Generate ECO/DCO and process documentation changes.
• Support ISO and medical device requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
