Health Connect America is seeking a Med Clinic Nurse - RN to join their team in Gulfport, MS. This role involves assisting with front office duties, conducting nursing assessments, and providing patient care in a supportive environment. **Responsibilities:**
- Assist with front office duties: calls, voicemails, faxes, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification.
- Maintain accurate demographics and insurance information in the Electronic Health Record.
- Communicate via email with patients, coworkers, and outside agencies.
- Assist with forms: screening tools, intake paperwork, consents.
- Complete, upload, and maintain documents in the Electronic Health Record.
- Submit refill requests, communicate with pharmacies, and document efforts.
- Monitor medications, provide support and education.
- Conduct nursing assessments, document, and bill accordingly.
- Serve as a clinical support liaison among practitioners, professionals, and agencies.
- Communicate with patients and stakeholders to address questions and concerns.
- Assist with Prior Authorization requests and obtaining lab results.
- On-site: obtain vitals and complete forms.
- Transport self to clinic if on-site, maintaining a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle safety.
- Uphold patient and employee privacy per HIPAA regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of service.
