Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a dedicated Medication Aide / Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents with accuracy and dignity in a senior living setting. You will monitor residents after passes, document promptly, maintain secure medication carts, and adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect resident health and safety.

This role requires clear communication with nursing staff and the ability to respond to changes in health while respecting residents' rights

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and 18+ years old.
• Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Preferred experience in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time.
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes, observe symptoms, and report concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts and maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to prevent medication errors and ensure resident safety.
