Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Oakton, VA seeks a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments with accuracy, dignity, and compliance with physician orders and MAR/TAR documentation. You will monitor residents, observe after passes, and report concerns promptly.

• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
