Sunrise Senior Living, Bethesda, MD is hiring a part-time Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents in a safe, accurate, and compassionate manner.

Responsibilities include following physician orders, performing MAR/TAR documentation in real time, monitoring residents, reporting concerns, and maintaining secure medication areas. CPR/First Aid and medication administration certification are required; senior care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; senior care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes and monitor symptoms.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
