Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC is seeking a part-time Medication Aide/Med Tech in Alexandria, VA to deliver safe, accurate medication care for residents.

You will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, and document in MAR/TAR in real time while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
