Job summary

Pacific-Living-Centers in Oregon is seeking Universal Caregivers / Medication Aides to provide essential daily care to residents, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support, while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to the resident’s service plan.

Role requires after-training medication setup, observation of health changes, and timely reporting to supervision. On-site position with opportunities for ongoing caregiver education and state-compliant care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience with working with seniors.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge.
• Valid CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during the hiring process).
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required but part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
• Medication setup and administration, when needed, after training.
• Update resident records in a timely manner according to company policy and procedures.
• Report any changes in resident health or behavior to supervisor promptly.
