About the Role:

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents under the supervision of our licensed nurses. Your duties will include:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and under the supervision of licensed nurses
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident medications and treatments
• Assisting with vital sign checks, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates
• Assisting with resident transfers, ambulation, and mobility exercises
• Providing individualized care to residents with various needs and abilities
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care

Requirements:

• Currently certified as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of Texas
• 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues
