GDH Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced SME Systems Engineer focused on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to manage and optimize the MECM environment enterprise-wide.

The role involves deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting MECM, with automation via PowerShell and coordination across IT teams to maintain system health and security compliance. Responsibilities include patch management, OS deployment, imaging, and reporting on deployment status and inventory.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma with 10+ years of related experience or equivalent.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
  • Extensive hands‑on experience managing MECM environments in large-scale enterprise settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012-2025, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
  • Experience with Windows imaging, task sequences, and driver management.
  • Proficiency with VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and management.
  • Experience building and maintaining lab/test environments for validation and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to manage patch cycles, update deployments, and compliance reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and stakeholder coordination.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance.

  • Monitor endpoint compliance and remediate issues to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting for MECM client health, software distribution errors, and imaging failures.
  • Use PowerShell scripting to automate administrative tasks and improve endpoint management efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of system configurations, procedures, and maintenance activities.
  • Generate and analyze reports on deployment status, hardware inventory, and compliance metrics.

Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.00 hourly
