Job summary

Agile Defense in Fort Huachuca, AZ is seeking a Systems Administrator (Linux & Windows) with MECM/SCCM experience to maintain a heterogeneous enterprise environment consisting of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server 2019/2022, and Windows endpoints.

You will work with cybersecurity leads to ensure high availability, rapid vulnerability remediation, and compliance with DoD frameworks while managing OS deployments, patching, and configuration baselines.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
• Relevant computing environment (CE) / vendor training or certification in Microsoft Windows Server/MECM or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (or ability to complete within 6 months of hire).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related STEM discipline (equivalent professional experience may substitute).
• Minimum of 3–5+ years of hands‑on systems administration across mixed Linux (RHEL) and Windows enterprise environments.
• Minimum of 2+ years of MECM/SCCM administration in enterprise or lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead MECM/SCCM administration across enclaves and ensure infrastructure health.
• Engineer, test, deploy, and maintain OS deployment task sequences and golden images.
• Package, test, distribute, and automate software updates and applications.
• Manage AD DS, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and RBAC for secure identities and access.
• Maintain Linux and Windows servers, networks, and backup solutions.
• Ensure DISA STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness.
