Job summary

CACI is seeking a MECM Engineer in Chantilly, VA to design, implement, and operate an enterprise MECM/Intune solution for the DoD EITaaS program. The role includes scaling MECM infrastructure, managing patching, and collaborating with security teams to meet STIG and compliance requirements.

The position requires DoD Secret clearance, strong Windows Server/Workstation experience, and hands-on MECM experience.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required.
  • Security+ or 8570/IAT II compliance required.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in MECM/IT administration.
  • Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting software updates.
  • Experience building/deploying application packages in SCCM/MECM Current Branch.
  • Experience managing a large MECM infrastructure.
  • Experience with Windows Servers and Workstations.
  • Familiarity with STIG requirements and ITILv4.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The candidate will join a team of engineers responsible for engineering and implementing an enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Solution. The UEM solution shall be capable of managing all Windows and Bring Your Own Approved Device (BYOAD) endpoints.On the EITaaS program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.**Responsibilities:*** Serve as an experienced MECM engineer assisting with the design and implementation of the MECM/Intune solution for the DAF.* Ensuring the design of the solution is scalable to meet DAF needs/growth.* Establishing procedures based on industry best practices for both routine and zero-day patch management.* Deploy applications and application updates based on defined criteria.* Remediate issues related to failed patches or applications and conflicts related to patching.* Create documentation/SOPs for new procedures and manual steps to complete tasks for soft hand-offs and cross-training of support personnel.* Operate and maintain the overall MECM infrastructure supporting the enterprise.* Track all relevant SLA/SLRs and provide reports as required.* Collaborate with DAF enterprise and program security teams to ensure requirements are met within allotted timeframes.* Communicate effectively and collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and peers.**Qualifications:***Required:** Active DoD Secret clearance* Security + Certification or must meet 8570 compliance/IAT II compliance* 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).* Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting the installation of Microsoft and third-party software updates* Experience building/deploying application packages in SCCM 2012/MECM Current Branch* Experience managing a large MECM infrastructure* Experience managing Windows Servers and Workstations (mobile devices a plus)* Experience with Adaptiva OneSite/Client Health* Experience working in a DoD environment* Familiarity with STIG requirements* Familiarity with ITILv4* Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies* Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint* Excellent verbal and written communication skills*Desired:** Experience with ServiceNow* Experience with Tanium* Acts independently to expose and resolve problems-**What You Can Expect:****A culture of integrity.**At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
