Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Tyler, TX is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.

You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles. This role requires flexibility with shifts, physical stamina, and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on MHE and pneumatic systems with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components on MHE (belts, motors, sensors, relays, etc.).
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain safe working environment by following all procedures.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
