Job summary

Itron is seeking a Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery in our manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

You will perform preventive maintenance, fix equipment swiftly to minimize downtime, and collaborate with engineers on special projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechatronics or related field.
• 1+ year of experience as a technician in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Excellent communication and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts to minimize downtime.
• Communicate with supervision and support staff on equipment status.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs and inspections.
• Assist engineers and support staff on special projects.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Stay aware of product/process trends.
