Job summary

Itron is seeking a Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery in our SC-based facility. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and address equipment failures to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Mechatronics or related field, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and strong mechanical, electrical, and fluid power skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechatronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of related experience as a technician in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and team-first mentality.
• Desire to learn, grow, and have fun in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures for a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic systems for production equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts to minimize downtime.
• Maintain communication with production supervision and support staff on equipment status.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs and inspections.
• Assist Engineers and Support Staff on special projects.
• Stay aware of product/process trends.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
