Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

The role requires 2+ years in MHE repair, predictive/preventative maintenance, and knowledge of electrical schematics; travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours (with or without accommodations).
• Possible travel up to 20%.
