Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Mechatronics & Robotics) to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years in MHE repair and in predictive/ preventative maintenance; a vocational/associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Associate's or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls (preferred).
• 1+ year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading (preferred).
• 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles (preferred).
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand for long shifts; travel up to 20%.
