Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

You will work a variety of shifts, follow safety procedures, and travel up to 20% as needed. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and strong documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment
• 2+ years of experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment
• Maintain relationships across the Operations facility
• Track and store department inventory
• Move up to 49lbs and stand for long shifts up to 12 hours
• Possible travel up to 20%
