Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team, repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and to install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in MHE or automated conveyors, CMMS experience, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, document work orders, and mentor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems.
• 2+ years of experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with CMMS and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Maintenance: Complete preventative maintenance and document work orders.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE and conveyors.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours and parts data.
• Support: Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Communication: Maintain positive relationships across the facility.
