Job summary

C&W Services in New York is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility.

You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, promote safety, and mentor junior technicians while documenting work orders. This role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance.
• 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 1+ years knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; ability to manage documents.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Complete preventive maintenance routines with proper documentation; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; track inventory.
• Support: Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Communication: Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
