Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years in MHE or automated conveyors, strong maintenance expertise, and CMMS proficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyors.
- 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
- 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
- Experience with a CMMS.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.).
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
- Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
- Monitor and store department inventory.
- Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
