Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support a state-of-the-art distribution facility in Rockville, VA. The role focuses on keeping automated systems running through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and direct hands-on repairs on conveyors and MHE.

You will read blueprints and electrical schematics, manage maintenance activity in a CMMS, and track downtime and spare parts. This contract-to-hire position offers growth opportunities and entry to a large nationwide

Maintenance Technician II - Mechatronics & Robotics

Ready to work with advanced automation, robotics, and high-speed equipment? We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II to help keep our state-of-the-art distribution facility running efficiently.

Location: Rockville, VA

Pay Rate: $32.50/hour

Contract-to-Hire Opportunity (Direct hire after 3-4 months based on performance and attendance)

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors and material handling equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Support electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Manage work orders and maintenance activity through CMMS
• Track downtime, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automation environments
• Experience with conveyors, MHE, or automated systems
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

• PLCs and controls

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
