Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield's C&W Services in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and to install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will work with safety procedures, perform preventative maintenance, document work orders, mentor junior technicians, and collaborate across the facility to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyors.
• 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 1+ year knowledge of electrical/electronic principles.

Responsibilities

• Safety: promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Maintenance: perform preventive maintenance and document labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Monitoring: create and close work orders, track inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Communicate and maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.
