Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support Operations Maintenance, repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems, with potential travel up to 20% and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Preferred: associates or higher in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CMMS and safety standards.
• Robotic or electromechanical operation knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE and related equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Operations.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Possibly travel up to 20%.
