Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is seeking a Mechatronics QA Engineer III for a contract role in Fort Worth, TX. You will test, debug, and validate integrated mechanical, electrical, and software components to ensure reliable system performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify defects and drive continuous quality improvement, while executing manual and system-level tests in lab and field environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience testing mechatronic or integrated hardware/software systems.
• Experience with test design, defect tracking, and component or system integration validation.
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems testing.
• Familiarity with scripting or data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and system-level tests in lab and field environments.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Create and maintain test plans, protocols, and documentation.
• Log and track defects using test management tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and support test setup and teardown.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor junior QA staff.
