ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is recruiting a Mechatronics QA Engineer IV for a contract role in Utah. The position supports QA for advanced autonomous and robotic systems, focusing on testing, debugging and validating integrated hardware, software and electrical components.

Work is hybrid/onsite with 3 days per week onsite at Cache County, Utah, and the start date is ASAP for a long-term engagement (2-3+ years). Pay rate is $45.62-$59.90 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience testing mechatronic or integrated hardware/software systems.
• Experience with test design, defect tracking, and component or system integration validation.
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems testing.
• Familiarity with scripting or data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and system-level tests in lab and field environments.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Create and maintain test plans, protocols, and documentation.
• Log and track defects using test management tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and support test setup and teardown.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support user-acceptance and performance validation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor junior QA staff.
