Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus or one of the college’s six county centers, with day, evening, or online class options. Temporary, part-time assignments may arise across multiple programs, including dual credit courses with local high schools.

Instructors will follow syllabi, use instructional technology, and apply varied teaching methods while prioritizing student engagement, safety, and compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• An Associate of Science degree in Mechatronics Technology or related field is required.
• A minimum of three years of related work experience is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse student body at various locations in accordance with established syllabi.
• Utilize instructional technology and varied teaching methods.
• Plan, manage, and deliver course instruction; follow EPA/OSHA regulations pertaining to the program.
• Participate in college functions and contribute to continuous program and college improvement.
• Serve as a professional team member supporting the college’s mission and vision.
