Job summary

Qualifications

Requires knowledge of industrial electricity including single- and three-phase power, motor controls, servo controls, emergency systems and process automation.
Requires knowledge of PLCs and system control software such as RSLogix 5000 and Omron Sysmac.
Knowledge of fluid power (hydraulics and pneumatics) and equipment selection for tasks.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose using PLC software; observe and test machinery to locate problems.
Document actions, irregularities and needs to ensure smooth shift handoffs and continuity.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all equipment using appropriate tools and safety practices.
Input maintenance work orders in CMMS and manage parts used per work order.
