Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to work on a production floor, diagnosing faults, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will interpret schematics, troubleshoot PLC-driven machinery, install wiring for motors and sensors, and document work orders in the CMMS. A strong safety mindset and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Background troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Familiar with VFDs, sensors, relays, motor control circuits.

Responsibilities

• Pinpoint and resolve faults on industrial production assets to reduce downtime.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to keep equipment in top condition.
• Diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Repair or replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, valves, and related components.
• Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints to guide work.
• Troubleshoot PLC-driven machinery; programming knowledge is a plus, not required.
• Install and wire motors, sensors, VFDs, relays, contactors, and other control components.
• Complete accurate work orders and parts usage in a CMMS.
• Assist with new equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow all safety procedures—especially Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)—every time.
• Partner with production and engineering to elevate equipment reliability and performance.
