Persona AI in Houston, TX is seeking a Mechatronics Manufacturing Engineer to design, build, and validate test fixtures, assembly aids, and end-of-line stations for humanoid robot production. The role combines mechanical, electrical, and software work to create repeatable, high-speed verification on the shop floor.

You will wire sensors and actuators, write test code (Python, C/C++, LabVIEW), and collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to define “good” parts and robust testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in a production environment building test fixtures, tooling, or test equipment.
• Ability to work across mechanical and electrical disciplines and write code to integrate hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Design and build test fixtures, jigs, and assembly aids for robot subsystems.
• Develop end-of-line and in-process test stations, including hardware, sensors, and software.
• Integrate sensors and actuators into fixtures and test equipment; write automation scripts to collect data and define pass/fail criteria.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and design to define acceptable part quality and test procedures.
• Document fixture designs, test procedures, calibration steps, and maintenance instructions.
