Relling Systems in San Francisco invites a hands-on engineering student to join as a short-term in-person role at Potrero Hill. You'll help design, assemble and test a scoped fixture or electromechanical subsystem while gaining exposure to factory-scale robotics development.
With CAD and hands-on build experience, you will measure fit, document results, and collaborate with software and controls engineers on interfaces. The position runs 2-4 months with 40-60 hours per week, paid monthly.

Relling Systems (YC S25) builds ready-to-deploy AI robot workcells for US manufacturers. We design and test in San Francisco and put systems to work on factory floors. This role is in person in Potrero Hill, San Francisco.
Help design, assemble and test a scoped fixture or electromechanical subsystem.
Measure fit and repeatability, compare results with the design and update documentation.
Work with software and controls engineers on the subsystem's interfaces.
Working toward a relevant degree or equivalent practical training.
CAD and hands-on build experience from a course, team or personal project.
Can explain design decisions and failures. Formula-team experience is welcome, not required.
